Shipping and Returns
All products shipped within Canada and the US are processed within 1-3 business days of receipt of order. If by chance your shipment is delayed you will be notified via email. We ship Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.
For products shipped within Canada, you can choose between standard shipping, which takes 4-10 days, or expedited shipping, which takes 1-4 days. Average shipping time within Ontario takes 1-3 days, and outside of Ontario takes 4-8 days. All Canadian customers will be charged applicable HST and Provincial taxes.
Products shipped to the United States are shipped via Canada Post from our Toronto office. Only expedited shipping is available so that we can track your package for you. Please allow 8-14 business days from date your order is shipped.

$0 and up = $15 – $25 depending on Province
US Shipping: 8-14 days

$200 + = free shipping
International orders are shipped via Canada Post Air from Toronto. The total cost of International shipments will be calculated upon receipt of order, and you will be notified by email. Please allow for longer shipping times – clearance may take an additional 4-6 weeks depending on the customs regulations for your country. Please note, we are not responsible for any duty charges that your shipment may incur.
SHIPMENTS DURING EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS
Extreme cold or heat can affect our products: some of our liquid-based products may freeze and expand due to temperatures below 0°C, and some solid-based products can start to melt in high humidity. In extreme weather situations, we can provide a next-day shipping service for these products, at an additional charge. This will ensure that your products do not sit in storage overnight, potentially causing leaks and damage to the rest of your order. Please contact us to inquire about specific products.
Returns & Exchanges:
At Matter Company we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We stand behind the quality and integrity of our products and are sure you’ll fall in love with the items you’ve purchased from us.
If, however, you are dissatisfied with one of our products, you may return it to us within 30 days of the original ship date to receive a refund. Please note: The purchaser is responsible for return shipping charges and will not receive a refund of the original shipping charge.
Items purchased through a Matter Company retailer must be returned or exchanged through that specific retailer following their specific return policies and guidelines.
