Why use sugar instead of salt as a scrub?
Sugar, as opposed to salt, is much gentler on the skin. It acts as a gentle, hydrating exfoliant. It won’t sting especially on a sensitive area like the bikini line after shaving and waxing.
I don’t have time for body scrubs, and why do I need them anyway?
Scrubs are easy to use as they are a shower product and can be part of your daily/weekly shower ritual.
Body scrubs exfoliate that extra layer of skin that causes dry skin build up. They help by preventing dry rough patches, cracking of heels and dry itchy skin. Body scrubs are also useful after shaving, to prevent in-gown hairs by gently exfoliating, and moisturizing the hair follicles. Massaged around the thighs, they help with circulation and can be part of a regiment for reducing the signs of cellulite.
